When you visit our website, our hosting, security, and related service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, pages requested, access timestamps, and similar log or diagnostic information. We may use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

The Scoop Troop does not currently use personal information collected through this website for third-party targeted advertising, and this production build does not intentionally include advertising pixels or third-party analytics. If we later add analytics, advertising technologies, or other tracking tools, we will review this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

4. Service Providers and Customer Systems

We use third-party service providers to help operate the business. These providers may process information only as needed for the functions they perform for us or as otherwise permitted by their own terms and applicable law.

Our current service stack includes Sweep&Go for service-management and client-portal functions, Vercel for website hosting, and Resend for website form and estimate-request email delivery. We may also use payment processors, text-message providers, insurers, professional advisers, equipment or supply vendors, and other qualified providers as needed to operate the service.

The providers we use may change as the business grows. We will update this policy when a material change affects how customer information is collected, used, or disclosed.

5. Payments

Payment transactions may be handled through a third-party payment processor or hosted payment page. The Scoop Troop does not intend for employees or field personnel to write down, photograph, text, email, or manually store raw payment-card numbers or security codes.

Payment providers may collect and store payment information under their own privacy and security terms. We may receive limited payment-related information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, card type or last four digits, and billing records needed to operate your account.

6

6. How We Share Information

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the business, provide the service, protect people or property, or administer an account. Depending on the situation, recipients may include employees, independent contractors, service-management providers, payment processors, software and hosting providers, communications providers, equipment or supply vendors, permitted waste-service partners, insurers, professional advisers, and other qualified service providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to investigate fraud, security, safety, or misuse; to enforce our agreements; or in connection with a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of some or all business assets.

The Scoop Troop does not sell customer personal information for money.

7

7. Service Photographs and Documentation

We may photograph gates, service areas, pet-waste stations, equipment, property conditions, hazards, or completed work for service verification, quality control, training, account documentation, insurance, or dispute resolution.

We make reasonable efforts to avoid photographing people, private interior areas, confidential documents, or unrelated personal property. Customer-specific photographs will not be used in public advertising or social-media content without separate permission, except when identifying details have been removed or use is otherwise permitted by law.

8

8. Communications and Marketing

We may use the contact information you provide to send service-related communications by telephone, text message, email, account notification, or another agreed method. Service communications may include arrival notices, access questions, gate photographs, completion notices, weather or schedule updates, billing notices, safety concerns, and account updates.

Providing contact information for service does not by itself authorize unrelated promotional text messages. Marketing communications will be sent only when separately authorized or otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing communications using the instructions provided in the message, but we may still send non-promotional communications needed to provide or administer your service.

9

9. Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account administration, billing, customer support, quality control, safety, insurance, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal or regulatory requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of record and whether the account is active.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational practices appropriate to the size and nature of the business to protect information in our custody or control. No electronic system, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We will respond to security incidents and provide notices when required by applicable law.

10

10. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You may contact us to request that we update inaccurate account information or, where appropriate, delete information we maintain about you. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

We may retain information when reasonably necessary for completed transactions, taxes, billing, fraud prevention, insurance, disputes, safety, recordkeeping, legal obligations, or other legitimate business purposes. Depending on where you live and the law that applies to The Scoop Troop, you may have additional privacy rights. We will honor applicable rights and legally valid requests.

If we learn that such information was submitted without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, vendors, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be communicated through the website, email, account notice, or another reasonable method when appropriate. The effective date at the top of the policy will show when the current version took effect.
